NASDAQ-100 Stock Screener with RAG
The NASDAQ-100 Stock Screener is a technical implementation of a hybrid Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system designed for financial analysis. The project integrates structured data from financial statements with unstructured data from 10-K filings and earnings call transcripts. It utilizes a smart query router to classify incoming natural language prompts, directing them to either a PostgreSQL database via Text-to-SQL or a vector store via semantic search. Built using Python, Streamlit, and the OpenAI API, the system demonstrates a method for consolidating fragmented data sources into a single queryable interface. The architecture focuses on resource efficiency and handling multi-modal data retrieval within a unified pipeline.
Smog Signal Network: Real-time Air Quality Leaderboard
A scalable, data-streaming microservices pipeline designed to ingest, process, and aggregate global PM2.5 air quality data in real-time. The system uses a local Kafka cluster for high-throughput messaging between services and presents the current Air Quality Index (AQI) leaderboard on a React frontend.
